Microsoft have an add-on called Windows Services for Unix that allows you to mount NFS exports. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/int...u/default.mspx |

Hi There is something called like NFS Gateway for Windows, we use it but it's stone-old and we are currently migrating away from it. You can try the other way arround easier share on windows and mount in aix with cifs (bos.cifs_fs.rte must be installed). Only trouble that could happen here is that you cant umount under some circumstances (as I found out the hard way). I wouldn't recommend using them in clustered environments, those mounts can block the Clusterscripting really bad. Here a Link to the NFS Gatway thing HOW TO: Set Up Gateway for NFS to Provide UNIX File Services to Windows Clients If you choose the cifs-way I could tell you wich optins for the mount are sufficent. Cheers seth |

And there is always Samba if you want to use Active Directory authentication to the share.
