network card

Hello

Anybody know how to display the driver and firmware verison of the network cards on AIX 5.3??

lslpp, to display software (drivers)
diag --> task selection --> microcode task --> display microcode

To map from a card to a driver, I would do:

lsdev -Ccadapter -F name,DvDr

You can map the driver to a fileset using which_fileset. e.g.

which_fileset phxentdd
/usr/lib/drivers/pci/phxentdd devices.pci.23100020.rte 5.3.0.0

Hi

Very nice proc to give the driver for any single card from pedz, i'm taking note of it.

In order to look for the firmware level:

lscfg -vp -l entX

and look for the ROM Level field.
