| Hello Guru's, I'm trying to workaround with ACL on one of lpar(OS-5300-12-01). 1. I created 3 user's(user1, 2 & 3) and added them in seperate group(testgroup). 2. Created seperate FS(/fstest) and dir inside FS(testdir) as a root and given the permission as below - Name Nodename Mount Pt VFS Size Options Auto Accounting /dev/fslv01 -- /fstest jfs2 1048576 -- yes no drwxr-xr-x 2 root system 256 Jul 27 12:52 testdir 3. I changed the attribute "ea" of FS to v2(since OS is 5.3 and NFSv3) 4. I tried to give the only "rw" access on "testdir" to the above users by editing the alc information as below - * ACL_type NFS4 * * * Owner: root * Group: system * attributes: base permissions: owner: root group: system others: --- extended permissions: enabled specify rw- u:user1,user2,user3 permit rw- g:testgrp deny --- 5. When i try to save the above infornmation, i'm facing the below error's. * ACL_type NFS4 * * * Owner: root * Group: system * attributes: base permissions * line number 8: Invalid IDENTITY type 'a' owner: root * line number 10: Invalid IDENTITY type 'o' group: system * line number 12: Missing ':' after IDENTITY type others: --- * line number 14: Invalid IDENTITY type 'o' extended permissions * line number 16: Invalid IDENTITY type 'e' enabled * line number 18: Invalid IDENTITY type 'e' specify rw- u:user1,user2,user3 * line number 20: Missing ':' after IDENTITY type permit rw- g:testgrp * line number 22: Invalid IDENTITY type 'p' * deny --- So please suggest how i can resolve the above issue. Regards Madhu |
