| Hi All, We have IBM P570 server and we have configure the as VIO server and it has 5 LPAR and one LPAR is configure as NIM master server and I want to take the mksysb backup of all other LPAR's on NIM server so requesting you please help me, how can we proceed it. Please provide me detail information. Thanks Bhupal Singh |

Firstly, define each LPAR within NIM. Then once defined, you can run the following which will take a mysysb of the LPAR's, however, you will need to perform a backupiso for the VIO Server LPAR as a MKSYSB will not work. nim -o define -t mksysb -aserver=master -alocation=/location/of/mksysb/nameofmksysb -amk_image=yes -asource=LPARNAME -acomments="LPARNAME mksysb" LPARNAME-mksysb Replace LPARNAME with the lpar you defined within NIM.
