i year ago i added external disk to the rootvg which is not recommend and i tried to migrate and LV from hdisk1 using this command migratepv -l lv01 hdisk1 hdisk33 hdisk32 to an external disk, the migration was successful my question is how do I move back the LV to its hdisk1? Note: hdisk33 and 32 is on the same size let say hdisk33 and 33 = 17 GB and hdisk1 is 36GB thats why i used two hdisk. is it safe to use migratepv -l lv01 hdisk33 hdisk32 hdisk1? hope to hear your comments on this thanks pete |

Hi, I think you must do the migratepv in two phases: migratepv -l lv01 hdisk32 hdisk1 migratepv -l lv01 hdisk33 hdisk1 but I recommend that you try testing with another not critical logical volume before. Regards Silvia. |
