Can we convert iso image to bff format ? Is there any command similar to "mkisofs" which is used to convert bff files to iso. I have an iso image in my hard disk and I would like to convert it to bff files to be installed through NIM server. |

In a word no. You coukd unpack the ISO file and then write a wrapper script to turn the whole thing into bff to install via NIM. Beware the AIX doesn't provide tools to mount an ISO image from within AIX.... You could also create an rpm - which is also installable via NIM. I usually just publish the necessary files via an nfs directory and then use the native install process on the client to install such items. Again you can use a nim script for the execution phase of that.
