how to stop rsct services

how to stop rsct services

HI,

just wanted to know that i have stopped rsct services using command stopsrc -g rsct. all the rsct services are stopped but I know that when i start the system it will start automatically.
How can I permenantly stop these services like we do with other services by putiing # or : ?

I dont know from where Rsct services are running kindly advice

Why do you want to stop the RSCT services?

They are meant to run normally, in an LPARed environment.

Ross,

ya i know these services are used in Lpared environment. but i m blocking these services on the particular servers where lpared is not configured. I have allready stopped them i just wanted to know where to put : or # to stop them permenantly means they will not start on reebot

Should do it, check the inittab also.
