HMC upgrade

HMC upgrade

Hello,
We are planning to upgrade an existing HMC running V6.1.2 with several attached p5 LPARS to V7.R3.1.0 to support our newest p6 server. We were wondering if anyone else has done so, and if they experienced any issues with the migration.

Hello,

Make sure that your firmware is up to date on your managed systems beforing upgrading to HMC v7. You can find some issues that others have had in the past in the HMC section of these forums.

Thanks, I have verified firmware levels on the p5 servers, I will check the HMC section.
