Hitachi seems to be somehow moving their HDLM solution closer to mpio. Does anyone have any details? I have this going on a test system and I still have dlnkmgr commands but my paths also show up with lspath. Is the new solution that mpio will somehow be used to more seamlessly integrate into the OS while the dlink component will still allow more intelligent load balancing than with native mpio, even with a pcm? |
