Hi, We got a server running AIX 5.3, that rebooted the other day, and now keeps on reporting hdisk errors althouth the errors are of type temp. The disk are configured in a vpath, and I noted that some phantom disks have appeared in the vpath config showing no physical size. Looking for some recommendations, as I believe these phantom drives may be causing the disk errors. Below some output. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LABEL: SC_DISK_ERR4 IDENTIFIER: DCB47997 Date/Time: Wed Dec 12 13:09:28 USAST 2007 Sequence Number: The reboot was finger trouble, but it did high light the issue. I confirmed with our storage guys today, and the server is connected via fabric switch. The server is in a zone with a P570 and the storage. So the zone config looks like this DS6800 -A0 DS6800 -B3 P570 P650 I would like to see the the 570 and 650 seperated, as this may be a cause. |
