Need your help ...

there's a HACMP script to bring up the Resource Group, which should only get executed when there's an auto-failover and it should not get executed if it is a manual failover i.e. the script will not be called if the failover is triggered manually, but will be called on the secondary server only if the primary server is down accidentally.

So, is it possible to have such kind of setup.

If yes, then please suggest me something as how it can be done........

Hi,

Not sure without looking deep into the topic

In your manual fallover procedure create a flag file
In the HACMP script, put some logic to check for the flagfile, if found don't execute the main action in the script
following manual fallover/fallback remove the flagfail

Just a thought
