Global memory

Hi,
I have a customer who uses Compaq / Hp Alpha systems in a Tru cluster configuration and they use a feature of Aplha OS - Global Memory - that allows them to put all the data in the memory and thus the access is very fast.
The application is a railways reservation and the total data is loaded in memory so that there are no I/O to the disk. The data is in flat files.

Can we offer a similar or better functionality with AIX?

One option that i know of is Z Series TPF, however the customer today has an inclination towards Unix systems and they are looking for options.

I will appreciate any feedback.

PS: This is my 1st note on this forum and I was able to get to the site through some search in System sales.

Another side question I had was, in my experience with SSG / System Storage group, they have a email based query user group called " Diskcore", Is there something similar for System p or AIX? I have found the " Diskcore " like groups to be very useful.

Best wishes
Ravi
