FTP log

Is there an FTP/SFTP log? We had an incident where someone tried to send a file and it never got here and were wondering if there is a way to track this.

Hi

You need to enable syslogd by adding the following to /etc/syslogd.conf

*.debug /var/log/syslog.log

Then refresh syslogd

refresh -s sylslogd

Apart from that, your customer/client should have some output from the programme/user
that attempted to send the file
