Hello,

We have many 52a's that are connected to Cisco 4948 switches. Once we reboot the server none of the links from the etherchannel come back on. We have to go a pull out the cables to get it working again.

My question is that is there any configuration that needs to be done on the cisco switch? Yes, I know this is an AIX forum. But worth a shot.

A long shot but are the Cisco ports set to auto negotiate and the constituent parts of the etherchannel set the same. This usually will result in a base setting of the lowest speed being set but sometimes means that the cards cannot negotiate a speed.
