Hi, In my environment my windows servers are pointing to one DNS servers.so i will be able to resolve domain names in these windows servers with the help of DNS server entry. My DNS servers are : 192.168.58.3 192.168.58.10 But i dont know how configure these dns servers into my AIX 5.3 servers.Because of this DNS issue,i am not able to resolve any domain names. Please tell me procedure to configure ... Thanks & Regards, BVIJAY |

All the info goes in the resolv.conf file, like this: nameserver 192.168.58.3 nameserver 192.168.58.10 domain readthemanual.com If you are installing AIX from NIM you can predefine this is a NIM resource and have it be automatically set up when the LPAR is installed.
