hi friends, I have follwoing configuration. .. LPAR On sys 1 : Processor mem HBA Eth Disk LPAR-1 (DB) 6 24 2 2 2 LPAR-2 (APP) 1 7 2 2 2 LPAR-3 (Extra) 1 1 2 2 2 LPAR On sys 2 : Processor mem HBA Eth Disk LPAR-1 (DB) 0.1 1 2 2 2 LPAR-2 (APP) 0.1 1 2 2 2 LPAR-3 (Extra) 2.8 24 2 2 2 LPAR-4 (DG) 0.5 4 2 2 2 LPAR-5 (Test) 0.5 2 2 2 2 Hacmp configuration is as follows 1) LPAR-1 of sys1 and LPAR-1 of sys2 2) LPAR-2 of sys1 and LPAR-2 of sys2 if LPAR-1 of sys1 or LPAR-2 of sys1 fail following things to be take place. 1). LPAR-5,LPAR-4 on sys 2 release 0.4 cpu each and 3 GB and 1 GB respectively. 2). LPAR-3 on sys 2 release 2.7 cpu and 23 GB mem. 3). now above free resources should be use in LPAR-1 and LPAR-2 on sys 2 in following mannger. 4). Partition Processor mem LPAR-1 2.8 24 LPAR-2 0.9 5 now how to include above events in HACMP failover.. ritesh |
