hi, there is a file system on my production server which is 99% full now i m trying to increase the size of the file system for tht i m using smitty menu. i have checked tht i have 13PP's available of 128mb each means 1.6GB free on the same lv . now my file system is 65GB and i want to increase 1GB but every time when i increase i get the same message ""0516-787 extendlv: Maximum allocation for logical volume ... is 512"" infact i have space. can any 1 guide me as its my production server and database will be explode. waiting for the replies urgently.
