When hardware fails, hardware has to be replaced. There is nothing you, as an admin, can do to fix it. The planar, if I'm right and thats what it turns out to be, is not CSU.
And as cautionary advice, these usually degrade so that twice in 25 days will turn into a crash that it will not recover from.
