Nothing wrong with a striped logical volume as a VSCSI device. However, never mirror logical volumes configured as VSCSI devices. This can lead to data corruption since the LPAR doesn't enforce data consistency between mirror devices and neither does the VIO server because its not a client/server I/O relationship.
