Hi
Do you assign fixed ip address to each HMC port of your pSeries servers before connecting to the HMC ???
If so, then youo might have a problem with duplicated address.
If not and use DHCP in the HMC to give an unique ip address to each server then the HMC1 or HMC2 port in your pSeries p550 might have a static ip that, by chance, has been already taken by another pSeries p5 server.
