Re: Defining a NIM machine

Hi

Couple of things to check

1. Is you client on the same subnet as the NIM server ?
2. Have a look at /etc/tftpaccess.ctl to ensure you have the following lines

allow:/tftpboot

3. Also check tftpd is running

[pr-tsm] root # lssrc -s tftpd
Subsystem Group PID Status
tftpd tcpip 19356 active

4. Have a look at /etc/bootptab to ensure there are no incorrect or 'old' entries from previous attempts

Let me know your findings

HTH
