I've got a p570 running two active LPARS and a VIO server. I've just received an additional drive that I intend to carve up into rootvg's for 2 or 3 more LPARS. Being a spoiled AIX admin, I'd usually just throw the drive in the proper slot, and run cfgmgr -v and watch the fun. Is there anything else I need to do on the VIO server? Will the padmin login on the VIO server let me run cfgmgr?
