 Defining a NIM machine | |

We only have only few lpars (on 2 p570 frames) which were built using manual CD install. However, after reading about NIM here, I want to configure NIM installation.
I have printed a copy of Steve`s (aka Steevojb) excellent guide
but without any previous experience of NIM, I still have many knowledge gaps and would like your help.
Having set up the master, how do I define a client that has not even been built and thus does not have an ip address or resolvable hostname? Basically, the lpar is not activated yet and I am looking to activate it and do the initial install from the NIM server.
